Statement of Faith

  • We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, it is the final authority of faith and life, correct in the original writings, infallible and God-given. (John 1:1; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5-6)

  • We believe that there is one God, He has always existed and shall always exist in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Genesis 1:26; Isaiah 43:10-11)

  • We believe that Man was brought into existence by God’s creation on the sixth day, that he was in a flawless state for the purpose of fellowship with God, and that he, both man and woman, fell in an act of sin in disobedience to God, and that all of Adam and Eve’s race has inherited a sinful disposition and in this sinful condition can not be in the presence of God without the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27, 2:7; Matthew 19:4-5; Genesis 3:6-24; Romans 3:23 & 5:10-12, 6:23)

  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was born to the virgin Mary, He lived a life without sin, He performed miracles and taught direction for all men, He then died for our sins and on the third day was resurrected, and that through our faith, He is the only savior through whom we can obtain forgiveness and salvation. (Matthew1:22-25, 1 Peter 2:21-25; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16; Acts 4: 10-12)

  • We believe that salvation is only possible through our faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in an act of repentance, we accept and receive Jesus Christ as Savior. (John 1:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 17:30, 20:21; 2 Peter 3:9; Romans 10:9-13)

  • We believe that baptism is sought by the faithful in obedience to the Lord's command, and that it is a reflection of our salvation and new life, and that it is not a means of salvation or grace. (Acts 8:35-40, 8:12, 8:16; Matthew 3:1-17, 28:18-20; Romans 6:3-7)

  • We believe that all the faithful should live in a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord, that this same faithful should repudiate all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices, and associations as is commanded by God. (Romans 12:1-3; 1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11; Ephesians 6:14-17; 1 Peter 1:14-21; 1 Timothy 4:12-13; I Thessalonians 4:1-18, 5:1-28)

  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return and there will be a resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and eternal punishment. (Matthew 25:46; John 5:26-30; Revelation 20:3-15 Acts 17:31; I Thessalonians 4:13-5:10; II Thessalonians 2:1-8; I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 1:10, 5:10)

  • Finally we believe in the local church, for the church is the bride of Christ. (Romans 10: 14-17; Matthew 18:16-18)
